Date submitted: Thursday 12th March 2009

Tickets for TRUCK TWELVE, which will take place on July 25 & 26th 2009 at Hill Farm, Steventon, are on sale now and flying off the shelves. You know what to do. www.wegottickets.com/truck

OXFORD: Scribbler, Videosyncratic (Cowley Rd & Summertown), Music Box

ABINGDON: Mostly Books, Local Roots, WITNEY: Rapture

DIDCOT: Baby John's Guitar World, WALLINGFORD: Toby English Books

READING: Guitar Works,  HIGH WYCOMBE: Counter Culture

Parking will be charged at £7 in advance (or £10 on the gate), for which you'll receive a TRUCK monster ticket for your car windscreen! This should ensure we avoid last year's traffic jam-  or why not avoid driving altogether? For the same price you can get our bus service to and from the site. Buy your ticket from our ticket page or direct from Festival Coaches. Pick-ups are from Oxford or Didcot Parkway - if you're coming from further we'd recommend train to Didcot or bus to Oxford.

While purchasing your tickets online you can also pre-order your festival merchandise, including our lovely T-shirts, hoodies and CD. Yes, this year's design will feature the monster! You can also get a handy programme and CD combo (the programme will again be a high-quality edition co-authored with Plan B magazine). If you buy your ticket in a shop you can still buy bus tickets and merchandise online afterwards.

In just over 2 months it's the second WOOD festival at Braziers Park on May 15th-17th: a limited number of Supertrucker tickets are still available, giving you access to both WOOD and TRUCK  and saving £15 in the process. Only a few left!

We are able to announce some amazing names for WOOD:

Brakes and The Week That Was on Friday 15th May; Dodgy playing acoustic on the 16th (check out their version of CSNY's Ohio for a surprise- they had the market field packed at last year's TRUCK for a joyous Good Enough singalong..) and the wonderful, award-winning Karine Polwart in Sunday 17th.

All added to the already mouth-watering list of:  Spiers & Boden, Jim Moray, Po' Girl, Danny and the Champions, Stornoway, Jonquil and KTB, as well as the usual array of talks, workshops and activities, plus a new children's tent.

TRUCK line-up announcements will follow in the usual steady dribble over the next few months... we promise you it's going to be awesome (and we try to avoid saying awesome unless awe is actually inspired) and in keeping with the legendary TRUCK spirit.
