We realise the past week has washed by, tumbleweed-like, with nae a dram of news passing our lips. Were we lounging in an opiated haze? or trapped in 2-dimensional space-vectors like those baddies in Superman II? we can't remember. To make things worse, there is no news today either. But this is the calm before the storm - tomorrow there will be so much news we won't know what to do with it...
