HARVEST is a new festival from the folks behind TRUCK Festival, on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th September 2008 (yes, in one month!) It will be held in the beautiful surrounds of The Isis Farmhouse beside the Thames in Oxford, and stars the globe-trotting, hard-swinging Hot Club of Cowtown, who will be playing on the Saturday night and then performing a workshop on the history of Western Swing on the Sunday, as well as a hose of other acts, from home and abroad. Both days will feature workshops and talks for all ages. The event is reached on foot, bike or boat from Oxford city centre. The Isis Farmhouse provides all-local food and drink and is located next to a nature reserve and Iffley Lock. Under-16 Weekend passes are £10, Under-12s are free. An £80 Family pass covers 2 adults and up to 3 children under 16. All tickets are to be collected on the gate.
