Foundation Charities

Truck Festival is a charity event and has raised over £200,000 for charities since 1998. Last year's festival made major donations to the Mali Development Group which supports peer-education about AIDS in Mali, Noah's Ark, which takes young people from Berinsfield on life-changing trips to Africa, and Uganda Women Jinja. We feel it's important to develop postive connections rather than just making arms-length donations. In addition we are working closely with Siren (www.siren.org.uk) on their conservation education projects in the UK and Africa, as well as helping local charities Homestart, Oxpip, The Art Room, Asylum Welcome, Donnington Doorstep and many more.

All proceeds from the food stalls, run by the Rotary club and other local groups, and the stalls run by the vicar and the village school, go to a variety of worthwhile causes and charities, and last year raised over £33,000 between them.
