The 13th TRUCK FESTIVAL takes place at Hill Farm, Steventon on July 23rd - 25th 2010

TRUCK tickets will go on sale on 13th February ARE ON SALE at 13:13pm NOW both online and through our lovely local outlets.

Last year saw queues, sing-a-longs, and even tears so bookmark this page - or have got yourself down early to pick up your tickets in person.

Also a bit of housekeeping is needed here as there is some change on the shop front. Both branches of Videosyncratic have now sadly closed, as has Baby John's in Didcot: its owner (Baby) John was in a serious car accident - we wish him the best for his recovery.

So, we've recruited vintage clothes shop Reign in Oxford and the shiny shiny Cornerstone Arts Centre in Didcot, and so for the the 2010 season our TRUCK local outlets are:

OXFORD- BONN SQUARE: Scribbler,
SUMMERTOWN: The Oxford Guitar Gallery,
COWLEY ROAD: Reign, Music Box,
ABINGDON: Local Roots,
DIDCOT: Cornerstone Arts Centre,
WALLINGFORD: Toby English Books,
LONDON: Rough Trade East & West,
HIGH WYCOMBE: Counter Culture,
WITNEY: Rapture,
READING: Guitar Works

You will be able to buy tickets online from Gigantic, Brown paper tickets, and several other fine online outlets- see our TICKETS page for more details.

As usual, band announcements will follow in the weeks to come, and If you weren't at TRUCK 12 (excuses on a postcard) you missed out on The Joy Formidable, Fanfarlo, The XX, Total Science, Errors, Crystal Fighters, The Ghost Of A Thousand, Pulled Apart By Horses, Wild Beasts, Broken Records, Supergrass, Frank Turner, Hot Club of Cowtown and Stornoway... This year's line up is shaping up to be even better!

You might have already heard, but if not prick up your ears now as this year we have introduced a Teen Trucker ticket; at the reduced price of £60 - and all you keen truckers can get the party started early by getting one of the very limited-edition Friday night camping tickets (£15). Adult weekend tickets are £80; children under 12 are free with an 'responsible' adult.

We will also be running a TRUCK bus, with comfy seats and room for your bags- running from Cowley Road, Oxford and Didcot Parkway station – you'll need to pre-book this, but more details on the website.

Remember you can also get a SUPERTRUCKER ticket for just £120 and attend both TRUCK (including the Friday night) and its springtime younger sibling WOOD (featuring FIONN REGAN, TUNNG, MARTIN SIMPSON and DANNY & THE CHAMPIONS OR WORLD).

For those of you that might not have been to all 12 previous TRUCKs - TRUCK is one of the UK's best and longest-standing independent small festivals (and we have an award to prove it) - a village fete meets Woodstock with a cutting-edge musical policy sharp as your suit. TRUCK is free of any sponsorship or corporate agenda: it's about music, co-operation and being outdoors. Founded by brothers Robin and Joe Bennett on a farm within a welly-wang from their family home, TRUCK now attracts over 5,000 revellers each year, and last year truckers helped raised over £50,000 for good causes.

A word about some friends of TRUCK: former Indigo Moss types Trevor Moss & Hannah-Lou. Following the release of their self-titled debut album on Loose Music, the pair will be eschewing the conventional live music circuit in favour of an enchanting tour of village halls, bringing along for company a handpicked selection of the best players from their famous London folk club, The Lantern Society (If you haven't already, you can listen to the WOOD festival special edition here); Sounds great to us! The Oxford edition will be held in the picturesque surrounds of Wytham Village hall on Friday 19th Feb, where the entourage will be joined by our own DUSTY and also the Epstein's Olly Wills. You can buy tickets now from wegottickets; more info their website (www.trevormossandhannahlou.com)
