The first ever TRUCK AMERICA is thrilled to present a special appearance from upstate NY legends and one of our all-time favourite bands MERCURY REV!
The show will feature a career retrospective selection of favourite tracks of ours and theirs, accompanied for the first time by a chamber orchestra lead by TRUCK founders Joe and Robin Bennett (on Violin and Flute respectively).
The three day, 1000 capacity gathering at the Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, NY on April 30- May 2nd 2010 will celebrate the art of live music, personal (offline) connections and the environment, as well as the stateside arrival of one of the UK's great independent music institutions - we come in peace!
Alongside the Rev will be a full line-up of great music from both sides of the Atlantic, as frequenters of the award-winning TRUCK Festival (UK) have come to expect over the last 13 years. And as at our pioneering WOOD event (the UK's greenest music festival) there will be a variety of workshops for all to participate in, from art to English football!
