<U>"The stewards were usless"</U>

As a steward this year I can only apologise for our lack of any significant conribution to the festival. I understand that owing to how there were at least 200 of us running around most of the day, that several of us should have been stood in the unlit spots of the sight, waiting to leap to the rescue of any unfortunates that, like your poor girlfriend, lack balance. Next year, I will ensure to do this rather than picking up old burgers or empty cans or bits of glass etc that we foolishly saw as a more important endevour. We may not have been 100% up to date with everything that went on everywhere at all times, and again, can only apologise for the lack of God like knowledge amongst the student volunteers. Again, we will rectify this by not supplying toilet paper to all the loos, and will instead focus on becoming psychic.

Once again, my sincere apologise for being useless. But as an overall conclusion, you're a wanker, don't bother coming next year, we struggled putting wristbands on however many guests as it was. One less would be appriciated.

I couldn't disagree more. This festival was run fantastically. Having spent the previous weekend at the love box festival this was a breath of fresh air to the overflowing loos, poor sound systems and long long queues at the bar, but the thing is that was still excellent. if you can't come to a festival with the attitude of making the best of what you can almost guarantee will be a smelly, massy and muddy affair then maybe sticking to your more regimented indoor events is best for you.
I would like to thank the organizers and staff and all involved for a great weekend and bring on next year. . . . ./////////////////////

Whoa everyone! Why are you all getting onto someone for their opinion? Since when did this become an attack site for some valid points? I too support neddone's opinion, as do several of my friends. We've been going to Truck for 7 years now, and  we all think that it didn't seem as well organised this year as it has been in the past 2 or 3. The reason behind this? We don't know. But if Neddone has got off his/her arse and made some enquiries as to why, then good on him/her. It shouldn't be slated as some of you have done. It's feed-back on these sort of things that hopefully get taken on board and help to make future Trucks better - isn't THAT what it's all about?

beardedwonder I think the main problem that people had with neddone's post was not that he had problems with the festival but the way he worded them! calling people retards really isn't a good way of making a point.

I don't believe the post was useful feedback as there was no detail as to why things were so bad compared to previous years to me it seemed like a rant.

If you honestly agree with him/her then you are, in the words of the original post, a retard.

They were not valid points, hence the reaction by everyone else who has responded.

Good mates with 'neddone' ae you? or are you 'neddone' under a new user name?

Well, I'm so sorry for having an opinion. I didn't realise this site was only for people to say only good things about Truck. I also didn't realise my fellow Truckers were so small minded.

beardedwonder are you trying to wind people up? I'm guessing you are so am not going to rise to it, you are not a fellow Trucker to me not with that kind of attitude and this has also been pointed out to you before but i seem to need to spell it out again.......

People with critism for Truck are fine no problem at all, critism makes the festival get better and better each year

HOWEVER

People who rant and rave and call people retards is not fine...ok?

If you care to look at my post, you'll see that I never called anyone a 'retard', I think you'll find that was 'Neddone'. When I said that I agreed with his/her post, it was merely to say that I didn't think this year's Truck was as well organised as previous years. Are YOU trying to 'wind people up'?

beardedwonder i didn't say you called anyone a retard but you were defending neddone's post, i was just trying to point out that no one has a problem with critisim for Truck which you said we did as we were having a go at neddone but we do have a problem with the way neddone worded it.

Anyway you are seriously boring me now so i just have one more thing to say and then i am done with you.

beardedwonder and neddone (if you are different people) please please please don't come next year.

and if you've "both" been coming to Truck for so long how come these are your first posts on the message board..?   Your comments are bitter and entirely transparent to those of us that  ACTUALLY WENT TO TRUCK 2009!   Which in REALITY was the best one yet..

2nd Snoopy's requests - please - if you actually exist which I doubt - don't come back! And stop going on because it is boring..
