Additional Line-up Announcements

Truck is elated to announce the return of The Rock of Travolta. After a ten year absence since their hailstorm of a headline set in 2001, the Oxford five piece are back with their brand spanking new album ‘Fine Lines’. The band has remained at the heart of Oxford’s music scene for a decade, and are as enthralling live as they ever have been.

In 2001 the band played their largest ever show supporting Sigur Ros, Beck, Supergrass and headliners Radiohead in South Park. In front of a crowd totalling 45,000, The Rock Of Travolta established themselves as part of Oxford’s musical firmament.

Following on from this year’s headliners are a string of up and coming artists that are not to be missed. Dive Dive are another Oxford born-and-bred band that were championed by John Peel in the ’90s. In 2005 the band got a top ten (indie) single with ‘The Sorry Suitor’. With a string of Maida Vale sessions for BBC Radio and a live performance on Radio 1, Dive Dive are certainly ones to watch this summer and will compliment Truck’s sterling line up. Camden’s indie heroes Tribes will also be on this year’s line-up, boasting a video that brought Camden Market to a standstill and a critically acclaimed debut EP ‘When We Were Children’, the London trio are set bolster Oxford’s finest festival.
