This year the press have been really rather kind to us. "Truck is the godfather of the UK's small festival scene" said THE GUARDIAN, "a festival run by nice people who put on awesome bands... it's grown to be a real festival institution" says the NME; This makes us feel old, but also very proud. Still, there are people out there who don't yet know about the festival, and we still have tickets available: TRUCK needs YOU to help spread the word, and make an extra £5 (yes A FIVER!) per ticket for good causes, or for your own beer fund - it's up to you. At TRUCK we love to support good causes that we believe in, and so do you Truckers: Last year we raised over £50,000 for charities and good causes by simply flipping burgers and drinking beer. Now we've teamed up with social media ticket agency Fatsoma to come up with a way to raise even more for 2 small charities we really believe in: Mali Development Group, Love Zimbabwe, and one big one we all know and love: OXFAM. All you have to do to become a Truck ambassador is create yourself a Fatsoma Profile and invite your friends, family, neighbours, schoolfriends and casual acquaintances to come join you at the world-famous TRUCK festival! Fatsoma will email after the festival to ask if you wish to donate the commissions to charity or to deposit them in your own hard-up pocket; it's entirely up to you, though obviously we suggest you donate the money to these fantastic, hard-working charities.
